Who's coming?
I know that most of our unusual suspects have hit this site and emailed a confirmation and probably aren't needing to check back to this page BUT if you are one of the people who got handed a poster at the John Prine concert on Friday night, you can surely make a comment here and RSVP. We're really excited about seeing new faces tomorrow - expanding the circle is part of the benefit. I don't expect to still be getting much traffic to this blog this late in the game but if you happen by today and have a list of who you're bringing, put it in a comment here just for fun.

I just got a call from someone who Deirdre handed a poster to last night. He's coming from Uvalde with four in his group. I've heard they cook good desserts in Uvalde, TX.
The phone's ringing off the hook today. Just talked to Mark Long and he has a couple of daughters who he's teaching guitar to and they're singing and writing songs as a family. I look forward to watching him meet the Lavens tomorrow. Know what I mean?
He and I had a nice long conversation which served to further enforce my feeling that there's a lot of people here in old cowtown with a family interest in music who need to be reached out to and welcomed into this Sunday House thing.
He was talking daughters and I started telling him about Casey and he said "You mean your girl that played last night?" It confused me for a second wondering how he knew that until I realized that he'd been standing shoulder to shoulder with Mother and Deirdre at the concert last night. It was like we were old friends.
Anyway, he and his wife and one daughter are coming. With the Uvalde group and two other emailed RSVPs that just came in, that's ten additional people today.
I just got a call from Parke talking about last minute stuff and we think, if everyone who has confirmed actually comes, we'll have 40 people tomorrow. That'll rock.
